Every day there is Horse Play at camp!

Project Horse camps do not involve riding, which opens up a world of possibilities for kids to discover endless cool ways to hang out with and learn from horses. Our camps are unique, supportive & fun for everyone!

Our camp programs focus on:

  • self-esteem & empowerment
  • teamwork & creative problem solving
  • coping with challenges & frustration
  • social & interpersonal communication skills
  • empathy & self-awareness

Most of all our camps focus on having fun, making friends & just being yourself!

Transition with Confidence! (for Rising 6th Graders)

  • Does he/she feel nervous or unsure about starting something new & unfamiliar?
  • Have you been looking for ways to prepare him/her for a successful transition?

Project Horse offers a fun, safe and engaging environment where participants can explore new ideas and build skills.

Our Transition Workshops help participants prepare for successful life changes by identifying potential challenges and pitfalls, and the strengths and resources to successfully navigate them! Ground-based activities with our herd build self confidence, problem solving and coping skills.

Girls Group: 9:30am-11am

Boys Group: 6pm-7:30pm

This workshop will be ­a safe space for connection among teens who identify as transgender, non-binary, or gender queer.

Led by Heather Kirby, therapist and avid horse enthusiast.
